The Health and Wellness Team at the Benson Center offers daily fitness classes designed to support active aging, improve overall health, and help members maintain the strength and mobility needed to perform activities of daily living. You must be a current member of the Benson Center
Cardiovascular Fitness
Supports heart health, endurance, coordination, and overall cardiovascular wellness. Classes include Cardio Strength, Cardio Tabata, Circuit Training, Line Dancing, Let’s Walk, S.E.A.T., Disco Aerobics, and 3’N 1.
Strength Training
Helps members maintain and build muscle strength, improve core stability, and support everyday movement. Classes include Body Works Plus, Cardio Strength, Circuit Training, S.E.A.T., 3’N 1, Pilates, and Block Party.
Flexibility and Mobility
Helps maintain and improve mobility, range of motion, flexibility, and the mind-body connection. Classes include Flexibility, Chair Yoga, Yoga with Jay, Ener Chi, and Pilates.
Balance and Fall Prevention
Focuses on improving balance, stability, coordination, and confidence to help reduce the risk of falls, which are a leading cause of injury among adults age 65 and older. Classes include Flexibility, Strength and Balance, Yoga with Jay, Cardio Strength, and Block Party.

You must be a member of a Fulton County Multipurpose Senior Center and registration is required for all in-person classes.
Fitness Room Orientation:
Thursdays, 1:00pm – 2:00pm, by appointment only, call 404-613-4900.
Orientation is required for all new participants in the Fitness Center. During orientation you will learn the rules and regulations of the Fitness Room and how to properly use the exercise equipment.
Open Fitness Room:
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays 8:30am – 4:00pm
Tuesdays 8:30am – 10:00am and 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Thursdays 8:30am – 10:00am and 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Important: The Fitness Room is closed daily from 12:00 P.M. – 1:00 P.M.
