Beginner Watercolors

Class Size: 12 Increase your drawing skills as they apply to watercolor painting. If you have an interest in watercolor or previous experience in watercolor, then this is especially for you. This course is designed for ALL watercolor levels, but I do encourage taking my Drawing and Watercolor Level 1 first. Drawing and Watercolor Level 2 concentrates on the Human Figure and Portrait.

2nd Qtr 2026 Oil Painting

In this class, you will learn fundamentals of working with oils from mixing colors to layering, glazing and creating depth with texture. Alongside hand-on practice, we will look at how artists throughout history have mastered this medium. Music will create a calm atmosphere as you explore techniques and gain both skills and confidence. Class Size: 14​

Class Size: ? This is an opportunity to draw using a variety of subjects such as the human figure, landscapes and still life. We will participate in a variety of drawing exercises to improve our sense of proportion, composition, use of line and tone. You can use the media of your own choice but medias that can be used as line or blended to a tone or gradation is recommended.

2nd Qtr 2020 Intermediate to Advanced Drawing

We will review the fundamentals of drawing in a variety of media, exploring line, tone and texture as well as experiment with different advanced approaches to drawing people, places and things. Students will need a sketch book, pen and cell phone or camera for this class. Thre is a $25 model fee for this class.
