Come and find out how to cook healthy tasty meals, tips on how to maximize the flavor without using things like salt and sugar.
Demonstrations will be carried out by Wellcare’s infamous Chef Lynn.
Know Your Rights Training Workshop
The Atlanta Citizen Review Board will come to the Benson Center to share important information about your civil rights and encounters with law enforcement.
This will be hosted by Benson’s Mr. Ronald MacAuley, Fulton County Social Service Coordinator.
MARTA Reduced Fare Breeze Cards
MARTA will visit the Benson Center to provide Reduced Fare Breeze Cards to eligible seniors 65+.
Please bring proof of age, and government issued photo identification for service.
4th Qtr 2019 Beginner Spanish

Participants in this class will review the Spanish alphabet and practice pronunciation of words.
Participants will also learn key words and common Spanish phrases as well as numbers, colors, the days of the week, months of and seasons.
Temperature, climate terms, and names and titles of family members will also be taught.
In addition you will learn direction, location and some geography.

A laptop computer is necessary for this class - cannot be done on a phone but you can use written charts or enter your tree on a genealogy website and work from that.
This class will show you how to access records that will put you onto a road of discovery as to who you really are.
It will also help you to organize family records and pictures.
Discover and document your family history and leave a record for your children.
You and your family are a part of history!

Benson participants will learn the basic notes on the keyboard as well as learn to play easy songs.
